Tata Nexon Variants and Prices: Tata offers the Nexon in five different variants. They are XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ+ with other combinations offering a dual-tone roof and automatic transmission. However, the features on offer remain the same. Prices of the Nexon begin from Rs 6.36 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) and go all the way up to Rs 10.80 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). Tata Nexon Powertrain: The Nexon can be had with either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, or a 1.5-litre turbocharged d iesel engine. The petrol engine dishes out 110PS of max power and 170Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine also makes 110PS of max power, but peak torque is way more, at 260Nm. Both these engines can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AMT. Tata Nexon Features: The Nexon gets a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman-Kardon that plays audio through an 8-speaker setup. Projector headlamps and LED DRLs are also part of the kit. The Nexon also gets rear AC vents and multiple drive modes (Eco, City and Sport). On the safety front, it gets dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD and CSC (corner stability control). Tata Nexon Competition: In the sub-4 metre SUV space, the Tata Nexon goes up against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Ford Freestyle, Honda WR-V, Mahindra TUV300 and Mahindra XUV300.
